Kirkland retains its $1.5 billion+ lead over Latham & Watkins as the world's biggest law firm.
Average partner profits climb 16% to reach $9.25 million.
The world’s biggest law firm just got bigger - and more profitable.
In new figures released today, first reported by Law.com, Kirkland & Ellis says it pulled in revenue of $8.8 billion last year - a 22% jump on 2023, while profits per equity partner (PEP) surged 16% to $9.25 million.
To put that growth in perspective: Kirkland added $1.6 billion in revenue in a single year - essentially the equivalent of bolting on a firm the size of Herbert Smith Freehills to its top line.

Kirkland’s dominance remains unchallenged.
Even after Latham reported record-breaking $7 billion revenues earlier in March, Kirkland has maintained a $1.5 billion+ lead over its closest rival in the global rankings.
